SUMMER 2026 CAMPAIGN

We're putting YOU in the driver's seat

Eight months in we stopped and asked — what do Des Moines families actually want? Here's what we heard.

FINAL RESULTS

What Des Moines families told us

Thank you to everyone who participated — the survey is now closed.

80%

of Des Moines respondents are interested in trying a toy library

60%

want educational classes as part of the experience

55%

want a stay and play area to try toys before borrowing

What we're hearing from families:

Toy clutter is a real frustration — more than half of Des Moines families say toys take up too much space at home and kids lose interest faster than expected.

A fuller experience resonates — families are drawn to the idea of a space where kids can try toys before borrowing — and classes and childcare options alongside a toy library would make it even more valuable.

Access matters — families want quality toys at a price that works for every budget, which is why we offer sliding scale memberships alongside our standard plans.
