Every toy is professionally sanitized between each use — no exceptions.

We use child-safe, EPA-registered products appropriate for each toy type.

WHAT WE USE

Our Products

We clean first to remove debris, then disinfect — the same two-step process required by licensed childcare facilities. Both products are EPA-registered disinfectants​

Step 1 — Seventh Generation Disinfecting Multi-Surface Wipes

EPA-registered botanical disinfectant. Active ingredient is Thymol derived from thyme oil — kills 99.99% of household germs including cold and flu viruses. Plant-based, no harsh chemicals, no rinse required. Safe on children's toys and food contact surfaces. Product details

Step 2 — CleanSmart Toy Disinfectant Spray

EPA-registered disinfectant specifically approved for daycare use. Active ingredient is Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) — kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. Gentle enough for toys children put in their mouths. Product details

Our Cleaning Process

Unfinished & Natural Wood Toys

  • Cleaned with diluted white vinegar solution (1:10 ratio) applied via cloth

  • Never sprayed directly — cloth is dampened with solution

  • Air dried completely — never soaked

  • No harsh disinfectants needed — wood's natural antimicrobial properties eliminate 98–99.9% of bacteria

Plastic Toys

  • Wiped with Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes

  • Followed by CleanSmart Spray for full sanitization

  • Fully submersible items washed with soap and water

  • Inspected for cracks or damage before every delivery

Ride-Ons & Bikes

  • Wiped with Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes

  • Followed by CleanSmart Spray for full sanitization

  • Handlebars, seats and touch points cleaned first

  • Checked for loose parts or wear before every delivery

Painted & Varnished Wood Toys

  • Wiped with Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes

  • Followed by CleanSmart Spray for full sanitization

  • Air dried completely — never soaked

  • Vinegar avoided — it strips varnish and paint over time

Fabric & Plush

  • Machine washed after every single use

  • Hypoallergenic, perfume-free and dye-free detergent

  • Plant-based, earth-friendly detergents where available

  • Air dried or tumble dried on low heat

OUR COMMITMENT

Every toy is inspected for damage, missing pieces, or wear before being included in any delivery. Toys that don't meet our standards are pulled from rotation immediately. We take this seriously because your kids — and ours — are the ones playing with them.
